This video was made to solicit donations for Colby’s True Blue Campaign. For Jaylin Talmadge ’25, a first-generation college student, the Colby Commitment—to meet 100 percent of every admitted student’s demonstrated financial need—means a liberal arts education without fear of higher education debt. As a junior in high school, Jaylin longed to attend an institution of Colby’s caliber but lacked the financial resources to seriously consider it. Because of the Colby Commitment, Jaylin is thriving at Colby, participating in numerous clubs and activities.

This video is a nice informational piece. The fact that it was produced in only two days is impressive. The videography and editing are outstanding. It has a great variety of shots.
