Dare to Venture: Venture Forward Impact Report 2022
From the Nominator
"Princeton University’s Advancement Communications team created a distinctive printed report documenting the impact of the first year of the mission-driven “Venture Forward” university campaign, which is focused on fundraising, alumni engagement, and telling the university's story. Our internal team devised the creative concept, wrote the text, and sourced and edited the photography; we collaborated with Thinkso Creative on the design and production.
Titled Dare to Venture, the report is structured around a series of “what if?” questions that probe the university’s unique approach to the liberal arts and highlight the campaign’s accomplishments to date. Through premium materials and printing techniques, the oversized volume makes a strong initial impression with maximum resilience, captivating readers with its impressive physicality and compelling storytelling. Printed copies were mailed to leading donors and volunteers and shared with all campus partners who had contributed to the effort or who had been featured in the report.
It was also posted online, making it available to all alumni, parents and friends of the university. In a message to the vice president of advancement soon after publication, University President Christopher L. Eisgruber said, “The Venture Forward campaign impact report is superb—beautiful and pitch-perfect! Well done.” For us, that is the highest measure of success."
