"The crowning achievement of One Ball State Day is not necessarily in having raised $1 million in one day but in the engagement of our campus and alumni. As a foundation, we set our sights on uniting alumni, students, employees, and other constituents in a day to help Ball State fly. The results included an increase in campus and alumni ambassadors, raising our first giving day of $1 million, 100 percent of deans issuing a personally funded challenge or match, and receiving more than 8,100 gifts from donors around the world. Just four years ago, we did not receive more than 250 gifts in a single day.
One Ball State Day is now one of the university's favorite days. Campus partners start meeting months ahead of time, creative challenges are imagined, students plan the on-campus activities for the day, and participation is just something we Cardinals do."

We were impressed with the use of ambassadors to share the different opportunities for giving. An excellent example of putting best practices into use. Being able to bring so many campus and community partners is impressive and proved to positively increase engagement and donors.
