From the Nominator
Chicago Booth Review is the primary communications vehicle produced by the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. On our website, visitors can find short research summaries, feature-length articles, and faculty essays—most of which also appear in our quarterly print issues and some of which do not—as well as research videos, interactive graphics, and podcasts. Across these various approaches, we maintain a voice and focus that allows both experts and non-academic readers to digest the findings and implications of Booth's research. That tone is mirrored by our design, which emphasizes bold images, bright colors, and easy use. In 2023, these qualities helped us attract more than 1 million pageviews from upwards of 670,000 unique visitors. Our work was also referenced by or linked to numerous third parties, from Politico to the White House.

This website presents content that is engaging even for those outside of the business world with catchy headlines and compelling illustrations, animations and imagery. The clean design makes content easily accessible, and the traffic numbers are impressive. We also loved their navigation bar, which helps you understand the institution's priorities at a glance.
