Hadley Family Recreation & Well-Being Center
From the Nominator
Promoting healthy values is part of the University of Michigan's mission, and recreational facilities are a key part of this commitment. The university recently broke ground on a new, state-of-the-art facility focused on the total well-being of students, faculty, and staff. To support fundraising efforts for this major undertaking, we partnered with gift officers to develop collateral material. The Hadley Family Recreation & Well-Being Center booklet is a customized publication that asks prospective donors to consider making a significant gift to name the new facility. The book spoke to donor interests and passions and conveyed how their philanthropy would foster a healthier Michigan community, while putting their mark on the university's architectural future. The result of this strategy was a major gift to the facility, which now bears the name of the donors. The impact of their gift will be felt by the entire University of Michigan community for generations to come.
