Each year, the University of Alabama president delivers a message to students, faculty, and staff wishing them happy holidays as the semester ends. We want the beginning of this video to provide an entertaining “hook” that captures everyone’s attention before the president comes on screen. This year, we showed the UA mascot, Big Al, recreating scenes from the classic movie "Home Alone."

This fun video went beyond the typical holiday parody. It had good pacing and entertaining scenes and included university branding throughout. It was low-budget and efficiently produced, making good use of resources. Results were strong. We especially enjoyed the sled ride down the stairs.
