KU Endowment is honored to celebrate Jayhawk Faithful—the most loyal and steadfast supporters of the University of Kansas and The University of Kansas Health System. Founded in 2018, this recognition program celebrates dedicated donors who make a gift in support of any area at KU for two or more consecutive years—no matter the amount. Now in its seventh year, Jayhawk Faithful has a comprehensive, coordinated calendar and editorial theme that reflects a multi-channel approach to loyal donor stewardship. The purpose of the editorial theme was to provide stewardship continuity. This year's theme of "Wherever you are, whatever you dream" is anchored in demonstrating how consecutive years of giving with gifts of all sizes makes a profound impact. Each piece throughout the year reinforced how consistent support made possible discoveries that changed the world and transformed KU dreams into reality. To engage and communicate with dedicated donors, the program expanded to leverage platforms. Software such as ThankView was used to communicate important stewardship messages, such as one from KU Chancellor Douglas A. Girod. The coordinated stewardship theme to guide and unite the donor experience paid off in the growth of the Jayhawk Faithful program, which, since 2018, has grown from 22,341 donors to its current size in 2023 of 23,561 donors.
