I am older…ahem…significantly older than my colleagues. I've read so many articles about Boomers and younger generations not getting along in the office. Yet, the 24-year-old designer next to me and I enjoy a great relationship, even if we don't always (usually?) understand what the other person is talking about. I decided to show that putting different generations together can work, and we can even learn from each other! Amazing. This editor's note ran in the fall/winter 2023 Miamian (the alumni magazine of Miami University). It has readers between the ages of 22 and 92, so they, too, can relate, regardless of where they fall in the age spectrum.
