Magazines: Alumni/General Interest (Two-Year Institutions)
Entries should be a print magazine targeted to alumni and/or general audience, printed at least twice a year (not including digital-only editions) by a community or technical college, further education institution, or similar two-year institution, such as seminaries or technical schools.
Submit two complete editions in PDF format, regardless of how often the magazine was published.
Grand Gold and Gold Award winners from this category are automatically considered for the Robert Sibley Magazine of the Year Award.
Do not enter:
Magazines printed once a year. Enter those in Magazines: Alumni/General Interest (Printed Once a Year).
Judges will score nominations from 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest) in these five areas:
Overall concept and creativity
Content, writing, and editing
Design and layout
Audience engagement
Use of resources (budget, people, and time) and return on investment
Judges also may consider:
Special circumstances/overcoming adversity
Quality and clarity of nomination and supporting materials
