Sarah Thomas
Sarah Thomas is the Director of Donor Services at NC State. She oversees the operations of gift agreements, corporate and foundation agreements, naming opportunities, endowment reporting, and the distinguished professorship program. Prior to joining NC State, Sarah was the Project Manager of Gift Management at the University of Houston. She has more than 15 years of non-profit experience and more than seven years of higher education experience. Currently, she also hosts a monthly call entitled “Hot Topics in Donor Relations/Gift Administration Compliance''. She has been an active volunteer for CASE, aasp, and ADRP. She is also a former board member for aasp. She holds a bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Baylor University. Under Sarah’s leadership her Donor Services unit has won two CASE Circle of Excellence Awards in 2022, two aasp Aspire Diamond Awards in 2022, two Best of District III Award in 2022, one aasp Aspire Diamond Awards in 2021, one CASE District III: Grand Gold in 2021 and has been nominated for an NC State Staff Excellence Award for University Advancement in 2018, 2019, and 2021.
