Brian Laird is the Assistant Director of Digital Innovation at the Oregon State University Foundation, responsible for implementing technology solutions that are high priority and high impact for the organization. His aptitude with technology and strong interpersonal skills have allowed him to achieve the successful adoption of a variety of digital enhancements such as a new board portal for the Foundation’s four affiliate boards, an electronic endowment report delivery system for some of their most important donors, and widespread use of SharePoint generally as a growing day-to-day resource and as the organization’s intranet.
Brian joined the OSU Foundation in 2019 and spent his early career working in the nonprofit sector having previously worked at Oregon State University in student affairs and at the Oregon League of Conservation Voters as a lead field organizer. He received his bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Psychology from OSU.
