Making the Ask Takes Practice, Practice, Practice!
Practice making the ask as many times as you can during this 75-minute session. In every sport, coaches encourage practicing the basics daily, so these skills become ingrained in the athlete. As advancement and development professionals, we need to practice the basics of making the ask repeatedly. Donors and prospective donors will feel more comfortable if we feel more comfortable.
