Celia Hurley has over 25 years of international experience in management and fundraising within the higher education sector.

Celia is currently the vice president of advancement at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Before beginning the role at UTS in 2018, she held several positions at Curtin University, including chief advancement officer.

Prior to moving to Australia, Celia was Central Carolina Community College's Vice President of Institutional Advancement. During her 27-year career in the North Carolina Community College System, she led initiatives in advancement, online learning, instructional excellence, staff development and accreditation.

Celia holds a BA in Communications from UNC-Greensboro and an MA in Mass Communications from the University of Florida.
