Cindy Hancock is the founder of Belden Avenue Partners, a consulting firm focused on donor relations and fundraising strategy. Prior to consulting, she worked in healthcare philanthropy for 14 years, leading donor relations at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital and Riley Children's Foundation. At both organizations, she had oversight of gift acknowledgement, stewardship and donor recognition programs, and was involved in proposal development, gift agreements and gift acceptance. She has particular expertise in database conversions, novel uses of databases to better serve donors and work more capably, campaign planning, and donor naming practices pertaining to major building projects.

Hancock has served as a board member for the Association of Donor Relations Professionals (ADRP) and presented at conferences including the ADRP International Conference and Blackbaud's bbcon. She is a graduate of Northwestern University.
