Conference Chair
Emily M. Rankin
Emily M. Rankin is the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Development at the University of California, Riverside. Emily joined the UCR Advancement team in 2017 and recently helped to successfully close the university’s first comprehensive campaign, surpassing the $300m goal, in December 2020. In her role, Emily is charged with overseeing the fundraising teams for seven of the university’s colleges and schools in addition to serving on the Advisory Committee on Campus Art. Emily is managing the first campus public art exhibition of all women sculptors which will open Summer 2021.
Emily sits on the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District VII Cabinet as Chair-elect. She has been a member of eight CASE District VII Conference Committees including Alumni Track Co-chair in 2007 and Chair in 2008.
Emily’s career spans more than two decades in higher education and non-profit management at institutions including Scripps College, University of San Diego, Whittier College, Opera Pacific, and the Byrd Hoffman Foundation. Emily is an alumna of Scripps College and Claremont Graduate University’s Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management where she continues to be a loyal donor and avid volunteer.

Sandra Campero
Sandra Campero serves as the assistant vice chancellor for advancement operations for university advancement. She oversees the prospect development and donor relations units to support campus-wide fundraising efforts. In 2016, she received UCI's Staff Assembly Excellence in Leadership Award for her leadership of the IT, data management, donor relations and prospect development units. This distinction is awarded to individuals who inspire and engage their employees toward the goals of the organization, motivating contributions at the highest level.
Prior to joining UCI, she served as the senior director of research and prospect management at the Arizona State University Foundation (ASUF) where she led a new prospect management model to support the university's comprehensive fundraising priorities. In 2009, she was recognized with the 2009 Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Circle of Excellence Gold Award, for implementation of this model. Previously, she led the prospect research team at Loyola Marymount University (LMU) in support of its $380 million campaign, and worked for 11 years in advancement supporting a $2 billion campaign at the USC Keck School of Medicine.
Campero serves as a trustee for the APRA Foundation, and faculty for CASE's Summer Institute in Advancement Services. Additionally, she served on the board of directors of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA) and was the board liaison for the Ethics, Awards, and Governance Committees respectively. She is a past board member of the California Advancement Researchers Association (CARA) where she was chair of the Volunteer Committee and received the CARA Service Award, the highest honor bestowed by the organization. She is an active member of APRA, CARA and CASE and currently serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Education Advancement and Marketing. She is a member of the Association of Donor Relations Professionals (ADRP) and Association of Advancement Services Professionals (AASP).
Dwight D. Dozier
Dwight D. Dozier currently serves as the CIO of the Georgia Tech Foundation. Prior to Georgia Tech, he served as senior associate vice president of advancement at the George Washington University, responsible for the areas of alumni relations, advancement services, constituent relations, and markets. Prior to his work at GWU, Dwight served as the associate vice president of university advancement and advancement services at the University of Louisville, assistant executive director of alumni services at The Pennsylvania State University, and as manager of biographical records and systems analyst at Washington State University. With more than 40 years of experience in higher education advancement, Dwight has been a faculty member, presenter, and institute and conference chairs for CASE and has served as a CASE Philanthropy Commissioner. Dwight was involved with CASE Kentucky as a board member, conference chair, and CASE KY president.
Dwight is currently on the CASE District III Board of Directors, as well as serving as a co-chair of the 2023 CASE District III Annual Conference. Additionally, he is on the board of directors of the Association of Advancement Services Professionals (aasp) and has served as the chair of the Blackbaud CRM Higher Education Product Advisory Group.
Dwight is a graduate of Washington State University and an active jazz musician.
Jesse Pisors
Jesse Pisors has spent 25 years in educational leadership, including senior advancement positions at both private and public universities. Currently, he serves as Vice President for Advancement and External Relations at the University of Houston-Victoria, where he played a leadership role in the University of Houston System's successful $1 billion campaign. He has led his team at UHV to set multiple fundraising records since he became vice president in 2015. Jesse holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees and is currently finishing his doctorate at Texas Tech University. Jesse served as headmaster of a private school in Mexico for several years and is fluent in Spanish. In addition to his responsibilities at UHV, he serves on the boards of the Victoria Rotary Club, the Victoria Rotary Foundation, the Victoria Chamber of Commerce, Faith Academy and other organizations. Jesse is a CASE District IV board member and a past presenter at several CASE conferences.
