Conference Volunteering Opportunities
Conference Volunteer Opportunities
Stepping forward to lend a hand at the CASE V Conference is a great way to get to know your colleagues from other institutions, and is a lot of fun too! For those wanting to become more involved in CASE V, it’s also a great first step to help you learn more about the work our volunteers do. Commitment and responsibilities are small, and the rewards are great.
Registration
Volunteers greet attendees, answer questions, and distribute conference packets, allowing you to get acquainted with your colleagues quickly. Shifts last for two hours.
Conference Concierge
The Conference Concierge is staffed throughout the entire conference. The Conference Concierge provides the latest information on sessions, sign-up sheets for networking dinners, assists with navigating around the hotel, provides general conference information, lost-and-found, and staff a conference message board. Volunteers help our colleagues continue to stay connected with attending the conference. Shifts last two hours, and coordinate with one session.
Program Track Action Group
One way to get involved is to assist the Program Track Chairs in building the session schedule for each track. Most of the work is done by email and conference call, and this provides a great opportunity to become more familiar with the work of the CASE V Conference Planning Committee. You also help to shape the direction of the conference, and steer the district's thought leaders into the next year's work. The Conference Committee starts in February.
To Volunteer
To volunteer for any of these positions, contact Colton Withers. Be sure to indicate your area of interest, or indicate your interest on the conference registration form.
