Thank you for your interest in the All Districts Conference: Better Together, Feb. 16-18, 2021.

This new event will provide you with ideas from advancement professionals from across the US and Canada and give you the tools you need to help advance education at your institution.

Sometimes it is not up to you to decide if you can register. Aside from financial considerations, professional development training could conflict with your work responsibilities.

The tips and sample justification letter below are intended to help you justify to your supervisor why you should register for All Districts Conference: Better Together.

4 Tips to Help Make the CASE

Emphasize the specific topics and skills you would like to strengthen or develop. Connect the projects you are working on and areas you’re trying to develop with specific presentations. If you have participated in a CASE or District educational event before, highlight how the program benefited your work.

Show that you are conscious of the budget and will take advantage of the early registration rate.

Identify colleagues from your institution who would benefit from attending. With the institutional pricing structure, multiple colleagues can attend at a discounted rate. Check with offices across your institution to coordinate registration.

Offer to take detailed notes and prepare and deliver a short presentation, or ongoing training, for your colleagues. That way others in your organization will get the benefits of your participation as well.
