Elective Session
The majority of our alumni populations live in a world of Amazon and Instagram, where complicated back-end algorithms feed them the content they are most interested in and most likely to engage with. Meanwhile, many of us are still sending the same exact email to all our alumni and expecting it will increase engagement. We know we don’t have the tools and resources of large social media companies or retailers, but we can take some steps now to start working our way to developing and delivering content that feels more personalized and adapted to alumni needs, across generations. In this session, you’ll learn about the technology model of generations and how it can apply to individualized engagement to build connection.
