Aligning priorities and messaging for stronger, more impactful relationships
The University of North Dakota and the University of North Dakota Alumni Association and Foundation, while two separate organizations have aligned priorities, coordinate messaging, and share storytelling assets to support both the strategic initiatives of the University as well as the fundraising efforts. The collaboration between the two organizations is yielding strong results for both organizations as they developed and prepared to launch a new university strategic plan and campaign. This presentation will review how the two organizations set up ongoing communication and systems that created the strong partnership and interwoven messaging between the strategic plan and campaign.

Developing a Case Statement for Donors Committed to Social Justice & Equity Action
This session will explore barriers related to Inclusive Philanthropy and strategic data gathering, with discussion focused on collaboration across the university and advancement. Tools will be provided during the session, allowing attendees to identify the Institution's Strategic Pillars, the creation of a Transformation Map and the sharing of steps that can be used to draft a formal case statement to use as a roadmap for donors committed to social justice and equity action.
