This program will provide you with a plan of action and the opportunity to explore techniques and practice skills in strategic engagement, cross-campus collaboration, solicitation, and stewardship to drive greater fundraising outcomes at your institution.
Learning Objectives
- Define the core competencies needed for a major gift officer
- Develop strategies to identify, engage and cultivate major gift pools
- Recognize how active listening and strategic thinking can positively impact gift fundraising initiatives
- Analyze data and research regarding current and future trends for major gift fundraising
- Discuss the CASE Global Reporting Standards and develop strategies on setting up robust models of reporting
- Assess the potential of cross-campus collaboration and align institutional goals with donor values

Register for a conference in US/CAN and apply the cost toward your first year of CASE membership in US/CAN. This offer is open to most in-person conferences or trainings scheduled through June 30, 2025. Some restrictions apply. Offer does not include cost of pre-conference registration.
