Linköping University began its fundraising efforts in 2003. Over the years, we have worked tirelessly to build strong relationships with donors and corporate partners. In 2024, we proudly surpassed the magical threshold of 1 billion Swedish kronor in donations and corporate collaborations since the start. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the dedication and generosity of our supporters.
Our journey has been marked by two major fundraising campaigns, each designed to engage our community and highlight the impact of their contributions. We have also benefited from the guidance of two external fundraising committees, whose expertise and networks have been invaluable.
Throughout this period, we have seen the leadership of three different vice-chancellors, each bringing their unique vision and energy to our efforts. Additionally, our fundraising activities have been supported by six different organizational affiliations, reflecting the dynamic and evolving nature of our university.
We are excited to share the stories and successes of this journey, and we look forward to continuing our work to support the mission and vision of Linköping University.
