Partnershippery! Advancement Services + Alumni Relations
Mar 15, 2025 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM EST
As tracking alumni engagement metrics becomes more of a must-have than a nice-to-have, the relationship between the team producing the activities (Alumni Relations) and the team producing the reporting (Advancement Services) also needs to strengthen and grow. Imagine if your alumni relations and advancement services teams shared the vision and ownership for engagement metrics? If you had push-button reports, automatic uploads, helpful dashboards, and easy to pull lists that enabled you to work more efficiently and effectively? In this ToGather, Lisa English will talk with us about what we can do as alumni relations professionals to increase the odds of that scenario. And then we’ll all have a chance to talk about approaches, applications, techniques, and tools that make the AR/AS partnership work. The framework will refer to the CASE Insights on Alumni Engagement survey, but any and all flavors of engagement data are welcome.
Registration ends on March 14, 2025

Belonging and Connection: How can we improve the “B” in DEIB?
Hosted by CASE Districts I, II, and VII
“Connecting” and “communicating” are often used synonymously, but they are not the same thing. We all know how to communicate, but fewer of us have been taught how to connect. And yet without connection, we suffer from a lack of trust on our teams, tension within management, toxic work cultures, and we limit our ability to create a culture of belonging. The good news is you can improve your team’s ability to forge connections with each other – and with donors, too. Being a great connector isn’t only an innate personality trait; it’s also a skillset that anyone can learn.
Conversation moderator: Stephanie Balzer, the founder of Mission and special assistant at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
