Dominique Layt has over 30 years of experience in financial services at three of Australian Securities Exchange’s top 20. She holds a master’s degree in business administration specialising in Human Resources, a certificate in disruptive strategy from Harvard Business Online, and is a graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors. Layt is qualified in project management, and is a fellow of Financial Services Institute of Australasia, and a chartered manager of Institute of Managers and Leaders – a global accreditation under Royal Charter.

Layt’s experience spreads across multiple disciplines including strategy, governance, risk management, innovation, and customer experience. She was the Chair of Somerville House Foundation from August 2018 to 2021 and is current Deputy Chair, as well as a member of the nominations committee. Layt is also a panel assessor with the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal.

Since 2019, Layt has transitioned into the aged care sector with global brand Home Instead. She is a certified WordPress website developer and search engine and user experience website designer, bringing additional digital marketing skills to the Somerville House Foundation.
