Dr. Leigh Martin is the director of community engagement and strategic partnerships at Singapore American School. Through this work, she organises and leads community engagement with parent groups, administrators, faculty and school board. Additionally, she develops partnerships that align with the school's mission and vision. 

Dr. Martin previously was tenured faculty at the University of Northern Iowa where she coordinated international programmes for educators. She co-created a master's degree programme for teacher leaders in international schools which has spread to more than 10 countries.

Leigh started her career teaching in international schools in Egypt and Brazil. She earned a PhD from Iowa State University in educational leadership and policy studies.
