Bio

Emma Silva is a passionate advocate for advancing Advancement with a string of start-ups under her belt and more than two decades volunteering for CASE.

She is currently establishing an integrated Advancement program at Jakarta Intercultural School, amplifying seven decades of Dragon pride to ensure the next generations of JIS students continue to be 'Best for the World'. 

Before Indonesia, Emma was 12 years at United Nations International School of Hanoi in Vietnam, where she created the school's Advancement Program combining communications, institutional reputation management, community and alumni relations, and fundraising. 

She came to Asia after 10 years at the American School of Paris, where she played a central role in embedding development for the school. Prior to ASP, Emma was head of UK fundraising for The Outward Bound Trust, which was a direction change after a 10-year career in the British media. 

As a CASE Laureate, she served on the CASE Strategic Planning Steering Committee 2016, has been a CASE Commissioner, is a judge for the CASE Circle of Excellence Awards, has hosted CASE events and is a regular speaker at CASE conferences. She currently serves on the CASE Asia Pacific Regional Council.
