In 2019, the CASE VIII Board of Directors is launching an effort to engage district members of all career levels in a conversation about what matters to (or worries) them most about the future of our field, and to demonstrate how CASE members can continue to provide practical value. To this end, District VIII is debuting a Regional Engagement Town Hall series with Calgary and Spokane as our inaugural locations (details below).
When: June 18, 9 a.m. − 1 p.m.
Where: Macdonald Hall, located in Heritage Hall, Southern Alberta Institute of Technology
What: Keynote speaker Nuvyn Peters, vice president of development and alumni engagement with the University of Calgary, will share new strategies for trends in engagement and the opportunities for innovation in our work. A panel discussion will follow featuring Peters and district and philanthropic leaders along with opportunities for networking and discussion of topics of interest to explore in future programming.
Cost: Registration is $50 for individuals from member institutions and $75 for individuals from non-member institutions; lunch included. Please register by June 12.
