Harriet Dearden is Head of Fundraising at the New Model Institute for Technology and Engineering (NMITE) in Hereford. Leading a small, high-performance team to secure funds to grow and develop a brand-new engineering higher education provider, Harriet is passionate about the transformative power of education. She has worked in educational fundraising since 2010, starting her career in independent schools, undertaking a brief spell in consultancy before moving to HE in 2018. She has led both start up development offices as well more established departments and combines entrepreneurial vigour with tried and tested methods of fundraising.
