In his role as the Director of Alumni and Stakeholder Relations at the University of Melbourne, James Allan is responsible for setting strategy and leading efforts to engage alumni and others to support the University, through alumni relations, regular giving programs, events and communications.

Holding a PhD in Communications from the University of Massachusetts Amherst along with degrees from University of Toronto and McGill University, James spent over 10 years in Alumni Relations at York University in Toronto before joining the team at The University of Melbourne.
