From news reporting to speech writing to brand building, Jason Shough has been shaping big ideas for nearly a decade. A graduate of the Medill School at Northwestern, he began his career in the Columbus Dispatch newsroom before joining Ohio State as a presidential speechwriter for Gordon Gee.
Following his time as a Big Ten storyteller, Shough moved to the agency side. He's written and developed campaigns for schools of all types and sizes—University of California, Northwestern University, Virginia Military Institute, Indiana Tech, Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, Antioch College, Monmouth College, Western State Colorado University, and Berkeley—Haas School of Business—and served as the lead copywriter for several global pharmaceutical brands.
