Julie is the director of communications for Barker College, an independent Anglican school located on Sydney's North Shore. During her ten years at Barker, she has overseen the communications and marketing activities of a school that is undergoing significant changes, including its transition to become fully coeducational by 2022. Prior to joining Barker as their first in-house marketing specialist, Julie held senior marketing and communications roles at the Commonwealth Bank, an international professional services firm and Red Cross in Queensland. Her experience also includes several years working in Hong Kong for a global PR consultancy and prior to that was based in London where she led marketing and promotions for an international casino company
