Kait McCaffrey has worked in social media and communications for a decade, with eight of those years in higher education. She built a foundation in admissions at her alma mater, Elizabethtown College, and spent a few years at a science and arts center in Harrisburg, PA. Kait returned to higher ed in institutional advancement at UMBC. She is solely responsible for all university social media channels, oversees a campus social media advisory group, works closely on campaigns with undergraduate admissions, and helps to plan Giving Day, in addition to writing stories for the UMBC News and Magazine sites. She also started at UMBC just in time to see them make history as the first No. 16 seed to overthrow a No. 1 seed at March Madness and no, she will not stop talking about it. Go, Retrievers!
