Leading With Story - Storytelling Coaching and Development with the highly acclaimed Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA).
One thing many great leaders share in common is an ability to tell effective stories. This workshop will focus on three key areas:

1. Embodied Communication: Together, we’ll look at how the body and voice work to support compelling content, connecting the body and the voice, and using vocal tone, pitch, pace and pause
2. Creating a Compelling Narrative: We’ll look at how to create compelling narratives or stories using anything around us. Attendees will learn to make stories natural and adaptable depending on the context and audience.
3. The Art of Telling Stories: We’ll learn to effectively use stories to create trust and emotional connections along with the art of when to use your story.

One of our partners for this year's Leadership Forum is perfectly placed to help you more effectively play the leading role at your own institution. The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) is a drama school in London and is one of the oldest and most prestigious drama schools in the world. This workshop builds upon the highly rated session from last year’s Leadership Programme – Playing the Leading Role.

The Essentials for Effective Coaching – A Workshop by Robin Kermode, Founder of Zone2
Coaching skills are the backbone to developing team performance and are typically one of the key differentiators that separate out the very best leaders. This workshop will introduce attendees to a range of coaching techniques, enabling each to develop a range of additional skills on how to get the most out of a coaching conversation. The workshop will also look at how to develop a range of coaching styles tailored to specific situations.

Robin has been coaching personal and public communication skills for the last 15 years; working with senior executives, entrepreneurs, politicians, charities, universities, corporate teams, professionals and media personalities. He is an expert on all forms of corporate communication; from conferences to board room meetings, from sales to customer service, and for all internal communication. As London’s leading communication coach, Robin is perfectly placed to support attendees to develop their personal coaching skills.

Movember – A Hairy Tale – In Conversation with Justin Coghlan (JC), Co-Founder of the Movember Foundation
Back in 2003, in Australia, a group of friends persuaded 30 men to grow a moustache for 30 days. Now, 16 years on, millions of men are growing one — all with the goal of raising awareness for men's health. Some 4 million men, across 21 countries, have grown a moustache to raise money since the original 30.

Today, the Movember Foundation is the leading charity changing the face of men’s health addressing some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention. In 15 years they’ve funded more than 1,200 men’s health projects around the world and, by 2030, their aim is to reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25%.

Interviewed by Robin Kermode, JC will talk about how he and his friends have, through effective storytelling, inspired millions of moustaches and raised over £540m in donations.

Leadership Forum — Leading through Disruption — Fireside Chat
The programme will close with an early evening drinks reception beginning at 17:45 and then will proceed to the invitation only ‘fireside chat' debate with high profile speakers. The topic will be ‘leading through disruption'—what does it mean? How as leaders do you articulate challenges to staff and colleagues as well as to students, alumni and donors? Chatham House rules will apply.
