Mark Gaines MBA, CFRE currently serves Purdue University in the role of Senior Director of Development for Diversity and Inclusion. In this role he is responsible for the direction of all fundraising efforts intended to enhance Diversity, Inclusion and Equity at the university level. This work includes major gift solicitations and annual giving strategies, as well as the development of partnerships to address the need for funding and engagement within the various colleges at Purdue. Prior to his current role, Mark served as a Director of Development for Purdue’s Krannert School of Management. There he was instrumental in closing important investments for both the School of Management. Mark’s ability to connect well with Krannert alumni, faculty, and students, allowed him to assist his team in raising a record number of gifts and dollars. Prior to his tenure at Krannert, Mark served as a Major Gift Officer and Associate Director for the Center for Integrated learning at Earlham College and Associate Director of Development at Miami University’s Farmer School of Business. He holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Business, and undergraduate degree from Earlham College as well as the distinction of Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
