Matthew McCauley is a Development Analyst for the University of Georgia’s Research & Prospect Management team; he joined the office in 2019. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Georgia in Management Technology. Matthew started working at UGA in the Housing department, where he served for four years as an administrator and quality assurance for the Housing facilities database. He and UGA’s Information Technology Outreach Services (ITOS) constructed multiple interactive visuals from the Housing’s database.

Matthew is responsible for researching, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting prospect data to key UGA Development & Alumni Relations members. Expanding on his knowledge of Qlik, he built visualizations from the CRM Blackbaud database, which helps move the fundraising efforts forward. 

Matthew has presented topics of prospect research and the impact of fundraising research. He has presented at APRA Chapters Share The Knowledge and GEAC.
