CASE Advancement Internship Europe
The CASE Advancement Internship is an 8-week summer programme which offers an opportunity for students and recent graduates to kick-start their career in fundraising, alumni relations, communications or marketing roles (known as ‘the advancement profession’) while helping organisations navigate through diversity, and skills and talents shortage.
Through this career pipeline initiative, CASE directly partners with organisations to identify talented students and develop their interest in advancement.
Simultaneously, the internship allows students to develop a peer network early and provide them with a mentor as they explore an advancement career.
Background
The programme was originally established in 2016 in the US/Canada region and designed to attract students (undergraduate and graduate) who may not have previously considered a career in advancement. Currently, in the US/Canada region, nearly 500 students have participated, 60 percent of participants being of various and diverse backgrounds.
Purpose
CASE is committed to growing and diversifying the advancement profession. We aspire to support and encourage organisations to connect with their diverse constituencies and create pathways for current and future employees of diverse backgrounds while remaining inclusive of people of different ethnicities, nationalities, genders, sexual orientations, ages, and ability levels.
