Minority Advancement Institute
The Minority Advancement Institute was created in 2006 to focus on the management, leadership and mentoring of professionals of diverse backgrounds in the field of advancement. The program attracted professionals of diverse backgrounds (i.e., ethnicity, race, gender, sexual orientation, age) who have the potential to rise to the ranks of senior management in advancement. At MAI, case studies and small group exercises are combined with lectures and discussion to facilitate provocative intellectual dialogues. More than 120 professionals have participated in the program, with more than 20 percent today in leadership positions.
I had the distinct privilege to be a member of the inaugural CASE Minority Advancement Institute in 2006. CASE and the MAI program were pivotal points in my career path. The professional development, access to a peer cohort and stellar speakers has been nothing short of transformative for my career.
My career success is directly related to CASE and the Minority Advancement Institute. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity that MAI provided.
The inaugural Minority Advancement Institute (MAI) was phenomenal. The content was truly valuable and the information gained during the leadership sessions were irrefutably an asset to anyone's career. MAI was an incredible and meaningful experience.
