AMAtlas Introduces New CASE Member Benefit: Graphical Program Summaries
The AMAtlas team is excited to announce the Graphical Program Summaries Report, a new initiative that will help CASE members maximize their use of survey data. GPS Reports will be made available, free of charge, to CASE members which are U.S. post-secondary institutions and participated in the 2019 Voluntary Support of Education survey.
“We created the GPS Reports in response to member feedback, which cited the need for specific, directive content from CASE,” says Jenny Cooke Smith, AMAtlas senior strategic consultant. “We hope that in providing these reports, AMAtlas can help kickstart member efforts to make strategic decisions based on survey results.”
GPS Reports are exclusively tailored to each institution and will include a visual representation of year-over-year trends in comparison with specially chosen AMAtlas peers, as well as all higher education institutions which completed the VSE survey. In order to provide actionable insight to survey participants, AMAtlas employs an algorithm to select 10 peers for each institution, creating a peer group based on previous survey data.
Later this week, AMAtlas will be making GPS Reports available to qualifying CASE members via email. After reviewing their individualized GPS Reports, members can access the following CASE resources to help reach their fundraising goals:
- On your own—Members can conduct further research in Data Miner, the online application included as part of CASE membership. Institutions can access online tutorials to learn more about how to create comparison groups and reports. Members also can access AMAtlas’ regularly released research briefs to gain perspective on the advancement landscape within higher education.
- Partner with CASE to receive expert analysis—Members can purchase an in-depth version of this analysis that includes up to 20 peers selected by AMAtlas, the member, or a combination of both. This includes a 60-minute, web-based session with the institution.
- Learn the stories behind the data—Members can join the newly launched, fee-based AMAtlas Facilitated Cohort Groups and receive the additional analysis noted above in addition to attending in-person meetings for Philanthropy, Alumni Relations, and Communications and Marketing practice areas.
For members who do not qualify for GPS Reports at this time, AMAtlas would like to emphasize that this initiative is merely phase one of the project and the team plans to expand the program in the future.
