U.S. Advocacy & Policy Resources
Advocating for Advancement
As the professional association serving educational advancement, CASE advocates for a positive climate for the advancement profession in general and philanthropy in particular by working proactively with local and national governments. With key provisions of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act set to expire on December 31, 2025, Congress and the Administration are likely to debate and enact tax reform legislation. CASE will strongly advocate for tax policies that help schools, colleges, universities, and their advancement offices achieve their critical missions.
CASE will work with U.S. federal and state policymakers on the following issues in 2025.
