The CASE Voluntary Support of Education Survey offers insight into the various types of giving and what gifts support at institutions. These survey data can be used by government relations and advancement staff as a resource with lawmakers and their staff. We encourage CASE members to utilize this one-pager in their work on Capitol Hill and at the statehouse to inform legislative developments affecting charitable giving on Capitol Hill.

2018 Voluntary Support of Education
Based on responses to the annual VSE survey, CASE estimates that colleges and universities in the U.S. raised $46.73 billion during the 2018 academic fiscal year, 7.2 percent more than in 2017 and the highest amount ever raised
