The Advancement Resource Catalog is the Library's database of 15,000+ item records (including articles, books, and white papers) available online 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 

Nearly 125 colleges in the U.S. exhibit four or more of the risk factors, putting them in danger of closing. And there are several challenges on the horizon that put more private colleges at greater risk than ever before. Advancement professionals at these institutions are in the best position to drive the actions that could save these institutions.

Endowments are permanent funds from charitable gifts that offer schools the enduring stability to empower generations of students and shape our world's future. 

The CASE Library has developed this resource collection for members who work at HBCUs. This collection offers case studies, research and recommended practices with a focus on the areas of fundraising, alumni relations, management and leadership.

CASE advocates for integrated advancement, which encompasses all the disciplines working in a professional capacity to advance our schools, colleges, and universities. By developing both understanding of, and empathy for, all the professional disciplines that must collaborate effectively to advance education to transform lives and society, we will be most successful.

While a global advancement career can be rewarding, it can present unique challenges.

A strong relationship between school revenue leaders—directors of advancement, enrollment, and finance—is essential for a school’s financial health. Termed “The Golden Triangle,” these three offices need to have meaningful and long-term conversations about budgets and revenues.
