Publications: Fundraising Case Statements & General Cultivation Publications
Entries should be a single print publication of any size that makes a compelling case for supporting the institution through philanthropy. Examples include campaign case statements, proposals created for corporations or foundations, and general publications designed to inspire private support of the institution. While entries will be evaluated based on concept and creativity, this is not a design category. Publications that, due to the pandemic, were distributed in PDF format instead of being printed also may be submitted.
Required: Attach one complete version of the publication in PDF format.
Do not enter:
President’s reports or annual reports. Enter those in Publications: President's Reports and Annual Reports.
Donor stewardship reports. Enter those in Fundraising: Donor Relations & Stewardship.
Judges will score nominations from 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest) in these five areas:
Overall concept and creativity
Content, writing and editing
Impact and results
Understanding of target audience(s)
Use of resources (budget, people, and time) and return on investment
Judges also may consider:
Ability to serve as a model for other institutions
Quality and clarity of nomination and supporting materials
