Publications: Promotional Publications
Entries should be a single print publication of any size whose primary purpose is to promote any aspect of the institution – except for student recruitment or fundraising. While entries will be evaluated based on concept and creativity, this is not a design category. Publications that, due to the pandemic, were distributed in PDF format instead of being printed also may be submitted.
For example:
Performing arts series brochures
Employee recruitment publications
Alumni association promotional publications
Student services publications
Do not enter:
Student recruitment publications. Enter those in Publications: Student Recruitment (Individual Publications) or (Series or Package)
Fundraising publications. Enter those in Publications: Fundraising Case Statements & General Cultivation Publications
Digital newsletters. Enter those in Communications: Digital Campaigns
Judges will score nominations from 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest) in these five areas:
Overall concept and creativity
Content, writing and editing
Impact and results
Understanding of target audience(s)
Use of resources (budget, people, and time) and return on investment
Judges also may consider:
Ability to serve as a model for other institutions
Quality and clarity of nomination and supporting materials
