From the Judges' Report
The judges were drawn to this entry because of the brain play, the clever fusion of language and imagery. Although not all the judges were fond of the opening illustration, we all agreed that it was as thought provoking as it was intended to be. It went beyond the narrative. The photography, scientific imagery, infographics and the clean layout were appreciated by the judges who all agreed is not always easy to accomplish, particularly when there are multiple stories with a story, in such a clean and elegant way. Kudos!
