Punahou School is the largest independent K-12 school on a single campus in the U.S., located in Honolulu, Hawai‘i, with 3,750 students. In the 2015-2016 academic year, it launched its first-ever comprehensive fundraising campaign, "Ku‘u Punahou," to support future aspirations for teaching and learning.

Punahou’s video has a strong emotional appeal. It is so different from the other entries and stands out, largely because it captures the unique spirit and culture of its school. We like the narrator talking over the students in action, ie. students actually doing the things the narrators is describing to viewers. The video was created for a major gift ask and it was successful in securing a 7-figure gift. The one negative is that it is long and has a slow pace throughout.
