Faculty, Staff & Retiree Donor Appreciation was created as a method of stewarding a group of donors that are particularly special to our organization. It sends a targeted thank-you to those who give more than gifts-they give their time and talents each day by working here (and for retirees, those who gave a career to advance our mission). By sending a special acknowledgement video and inviting these donors to an annual event, University of Georgia is able to thank and recognize that our faculty, staff, and retirees believe in their work enough to give.

Judges’ liked that this submission recognized former faculty and staff. Judges’ felt that even though the program in this submission was standard, it was consistent and impactful. Judges’ also noted that for the modest cost of investment, this submission really got a bang for its buck.
