The Story of Why Humans Are So Careless With Their Phones
    About the entry

The story describes why cell phone owners often lose or destroy their phones when it's time for an upgrade. Comic artist Josh Neufeld tells the story in a way that is both informative and humorous.

    From the Judges' Report

A fine example of how to communicate research findings in a highly accessible and understandable way. Nicely designed. Especially impressive for creativity of concept and design. The graphic non-fiction format was a creative way to convey social science research--easy to read and digest while retaining the key elements of the experiments and not "dumbing down" the study's conclusions. The panel agreed that the piece well met the publication's objective of exposing this research to "new audiences who commonly wouldn't go online to read about management research."
