We are submitting two editions of BU Today for consideration: one from October 16, 2018, and another from October 29, 2018. The editions include a mix of breaking news, multimedia features, topical feature stories, campus news, and research-related stories.
From the Judges
All the judges in this category were impressed with the volume and quality of original content produced for this publication, as well as the creativity and editorial craftsmanship involved in the presentation: narratives, listicles, video, animation, infographics, etc. There's lots of variety to capture the reader's attention. It's engaging and invites exploration. It's well organized in sections that give every reader something to notice and click on. Excellent use of visuals, too.
Overall, this piece sets the standard for what a higher-ed news site should be.
