Intended as a training video, this multi-layered film communicates the demands and rewards of serving as a volunteer program manager for the 10-day overseas FIELD Global Immersion (FGI) leadership course required of all MBA students. HBS staff play an essential role as FGI program managers, and this video enables them to see and learn how to perform their jobs. During FGI, while students partner with local businesses to tackle real-world problems, program managers work behind the scenes to organize and deliver study materials, provide tech and logistical support, schedule events, and respond to any number of difficulties that arise unexpectedly.

Judges all agreed the video was captivating video for what could be a mundane topic. Good pacing. It has a reality TV feel to it but gives a good feel for what to expect from the program.
