Where Legends Are Made is about the past, present and future of The University of Alabama. It highlights our successes, past and present, and the legacy we continue to build upon going forward. The campaign’s third year successfully launched on September 1, 2018, with the debut of The University of Alabama - Where Legends Are Made, Volume 3 during the 2018 Camping World Kickoff.
From the Judges
We thought that it hit all of the goals to be Authentic, Bold, Aspirational, show Pride, and Timeless (8-10 years) Great photography and inspiring language for print ads. The print ads had just enough copy to share the story, but not so much that it was too long to read. And the variety/diversity of professionals in the ads was appreciated. All branding was cohesive and clean. You would know immediately that these different materials (web page, print ads, video, clothing line, etc.) all came from the same school without even looking at the logo. THAT is branding.
