"You Said/We Did" Campaign
From the Nominator
In 2017 St George’s produced a student experience initiative, which tied together how St George’s had improved the student experience thus far and how students could help the university make further progress. Students were invited to provide feedback on areas in which they would like to see further improvements. The “You Said/We Did” campaign promotes to our stakeholders that the university takes the views of its students seriously. It highlights the impact of the feedback and showcases the many areas in which the university has made improvements based on this direct feedback.
From the Judges
Universities often survey students about their opinions and experiences, but it is less often we see actual infrastructure improvements and unique communication related to those improvements. The campaign was a clever way to show the campus community that their opinions were valued by the administration—and that's a community-builder. Putting the graphics on the library screens, for example, was “a tiny stroke of genius!” The collateral design, colors, and campaign messaging are straightforward and visually engaging.
